Cultura Pako Festa is Victoria’s largest free multicultural street festival and will continue to celebrate Geelong’s diversity through the magic of food, dance and music along Pakington Street, Geelong West. The Street Parade – one of the major attractions of the event – will kick off at 11am and is shaping into one of the most colourful, vibrant displays of communities for its 42nd year.  The street is lined with sublime food from around the globe and we invite you to a feast of the senses as you sample and inhale the unique atmosphere on offer. Established in 1983 Pako Festa is a spectacular cultural experience and continues to be a highlight on the Major Events Calendar.

All side streets and areas behind Pakington Street has free on street parking which includes accessible parking.
We also recommend getting public transport to event it is a short 10mins walk from the Geelong Train Station along Gordon Ave.

Bus times and routes have been altered across the event day. Bus stops along the event course cannot be serviced during the event. Revised public transport timetables are available on ptv.vic.gov.au & cdcvictoria.com.au

With the exception of designated licensed areas, the consumption of alcohol in the street is strictly prohibited. Fines of up to $2,000 may apply.

Due to the number of food stalls along Pakington Street, Pako Festa is a Smoke Free Zone.

First Aid Tents will be available to the public for anyone who needs medical assistance located near the West Town Hall please refer to the Event Map.

By entering the Pako Festa event precinct, you give permission that photos/film containing your image may be used for publicity or general information purposes, including publication on the Pako Festa website and social media, which may be seen by the general public.
